Description

The Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms with experience in federal advocacy and lobbying to assist in developing and pursuing its legislative priorities. The consultant will help influence legislation, advance StanCOG's interests before Congress and federal agencies, identify and secure funding, and apply for competitive grants and discretionary funding. The successful consultant will provide monthly reports and legislative updates to the Policy Board and staff. The contract period is an initial 3 years with two one-year options, and proposals must be submitted electronically by June 29, 2026.
