The City of Livermore Community Development Department, Engineering Division, is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide professional services for two major public safety facility renovation projects: - Police Building Renovations (CIP No. PS202316) at 1110 S Livermore Ave - Renovation of 7,300 SF including restrooms, kitchen, and office space - Estimated construction cost: $6 million - Estimated construction duration: 14 months - Fire Station 6 Building Improvements (CIP No. PS202215) at 4550 East Ave - Construction of a new 12,300 SF building and a 2,100 SF reserve apparatus bay - Estimated construction cost: $20 million - Estimated construction duration: 19 months - Scope of services includes: - Constructability reviews at 60% and 90% design stages for both projects - Construction management and project management services - Daily and periodic construction inspection services - As-directed services such as additional constructability reviews, independent design and MEP system reviews, and cost estimating (budget allowance: $200,000) - Consultants may submit proposals for one or both projects; awards may be made to one or multiple firms - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; opportunity is open to experienced municipal construction management consulting firms - Notable requirements: - Demonstrated expertise in municipal and public safety facility construction management - Submission of six hard copies and one digital copy of the proposal - Clear separation of information for each project if submitting for both - Fee schedules may be combined or separated at the consultant's discretion

The City of Livermore is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services for constructability review on 60% and 90% bid documents, and construction management and inspection services for two building renovation projects: Police Building Renovations (CIP No. PS202316) and Fire Station 6 Building Improvements (CIP No. PS202215). The scope includes upgrading and renovating the building, site, and utilities of a fire station and renovating restrooms, kitchen, and office space of a police station.
