Prosper Portland, the City of Portland’s economic development agency, is seeking a qualified partner to manage and operate My People’s Market, a signature event supporting over 700 under-represented businesses. - Government Buyer: - Prosper Portland (City of Portland’s economic development and urban renewal agency) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; this is a service contract for event management. - Products/Services Requested: - Operations and management of My People’s Market - Full event planning and execution (site selection, vendor recruitment, programming, marketing, day-of operations) - Stewardship of a community of over 700 small businesses - Convening the market advisory board at least twice annually - Developing and executing sponsorship strategies - Managing budgets and reporting - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Host at least three market events over three years (one in December of the first year, at least one in each of the following two years) - Demonstrated experience in event management, marketing, fundraising, and authentic engagement with diverse communities - Compliance with Prosper Portland’s insurance and contract terms - Proposals must be submitted via a designated JotForm link - Contract Value: - Up to $116,000 per year for three years, with possibility of renewal - Place of Performance: - Portland, Oregon

Prosper Portland, the economic development and urban renewal agency of the city of Portland, Oregon, is seeking a qualified and experienced partner to oversee the management and operations of My People’s Market. The selected awardee will be responsible for hosting at least three market events over three years, managing all aspects of the market including vendor recruitment, event programming, marketing, and sponsorship development. The awardee must also convene the advisory board and comply with grant terms. Prosper Portland will award up to $116,000 per year for three years, with the possibility of renewal.
