The Alaska Department of Natural Resources has received a Multi-Agency Application for Permits to Mine in Alaska (APMA) for hardrock exploration in the Fairbanks Mining District near Fairbanks. The application involves review and adjudication of a Plan of Operation Approval for hardrock exploration and reclamation on state lands, including possible cross country travel on state lands. The project, named Amanita, is located at Ruby Creek and is proposed by Tanya Stolz and Avidian Gold Alaska Inc. The proposed activity period starts upon authorization issuance and ends December 31, 2028, unless extended. Public comments are invited until June 12, 2026.
