The U.S. Navy's Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is seeking to procure two replacement hydraulic marine crane assemblies for the USNS SALVOR (T-ARS-52). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) - OEM and Vendor: - WRM Inc (Morgan Company / Morgan Marine) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole source for these cranes - Products Requested: - Two (2) Morgan Model 11522 Hydraulic Marine Crane assemblies - Part number: 738-11522 - Intended for installation onboard the USNS SALVOR (T-ARS-52) - Notable Requirements: - Sole source procurement; only available directly from the OEM - Delivery required to Military Sealift Command BATS in San Diego, CA - Unique item identification per DFARS 252.211-7003 is required - Technical documentation is restricted to Joint Certification Program (JCP) registered quoters - Evaluation criteria include technical factors, delivery date, price, and past performance

Description

Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit for the replacement of two (2) complete Morgan Model 11522 Hydraulic Marine Crane assemblies for onboard the USNS SALVOR (T-ARS-52) 

This requirement is sole sourced to WRM Inc, (Morgan Company / Morgan Marine) due to these OEM cranes are not available through an authorized dealer or resellers, only through the OEM directly. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.   

The Government will evaluate the offeror’s price for reasonableness and past performance as part of the responsibility determination in accordance with RFO 12.203. 

Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with RFO 12.203, the Government will select the most advantageous offer based on the following evaluation factors: technical including delivery date, price, and past performance in no order of relative importance.  

If you have drawings, TGIs, or references that are marked anything other than Distribution A: Drawing, references and TGIs will not be provided or furnished as part of this solicitation due to distribution restrictions.  Drawings, references and TGIs are available to quoters listed on the Joint Certification Program (JCP) website.  Quoters may request these by providing their CAGE code and DD-2345 for their data custodian.  For instructions on how to register for JCP please go to https://www.dla.mil/Logistics-Operations/Services/JCP/
