SERMC Shipboard Combat Systems Technical and Administrative Support Services

The U.S. Navy's Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) at Naval Station Mayport, FL, is seeking contractors to provide comprehensive technical and administrative support for shipboard combat systems: - Government Buyer - Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) - Scope of Services - Technical support for a wide range of U.S. Navy shipboard combat systems, including: - Navigation and Internal Communications - Satellite, Tactical, and External Communications (e.g., NMT, JTIDS, URT-23, URC-109 HYDRA) - Air and Surface Search Radars, Electronic Navigation - ASW Sonar, Torpedo and Ordnance Handling - Command, Control, and Intelligence Systems (with IAT Level I IA and Microsoft 365 certifications required) - AEGIS Fire Control and Weapon Systems (e.g., Mk 99, Baseline 9, ORTS) - Electronic Warfare, SSEE, RAM/SeaRAM, MK45, MK110, Minor Caliber Gun Systems, and Vertical Launch Systems (MK41) - Combat Systems Alignment, Computer Displays, Battle Force Tactical Trainer - Administrative and clerical support for the SERMC Engineering Department, including roles such as Administrative Assistant, Secretary III, and Library IT Systems Administrator - Personnel Requirements - 34 technical and 4 administrative personnel with hands-on Fleet Technical Assistance experience and relevant certifications - Service Delivery - Includes troubleshooting, logistics, training, documentation, and support for Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRA I-IV, BMDRA) - Overtime and travel are included, with specified annual and extension options - Period of Performance - Base year plus five option years (total up to 5.5 years), with a possible 6-month extension - Unique/Notable Requirements - Specific technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist, IAT Level I IA baseline) - Experience with a broad array of Navy combat and C5I systems - Support for both CONUS and OCONUS locations - OEMs and Vendors - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Locations - Primary place of performance: SERMC, Naval Station Mayport, FL - Additional work may occur at other CONUS and OCONUS locations - Key Navy offices involved: Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (Norfolk, VA) and Pacific (San Diego, CA)

Description

This requirement provides support services for two areas of the Engineering Department at SERMC. First, it provides combat systems technical support services for USN ships. Second, it provides clerical and administrative support services to SERMC’s Engineering Department’s workforce.
