The USDA Forest Service is seeking a concessionaire to operate and maintain 35 government-owned campgrounds, boat launches, and day use sites across the Tahoe National Forest. - Opportunity covers American River, Sierraville, Truckee, and Yuba River Ranger Districts - Permit term is up to 5 years, with option for 5 more years based on performance - Average annual gross revenue is $1.32 million - Concessionaire must provide high-quality public service, facility maintenance, and comply with federal standards (ADA, environmental, public health) - Extensive government-furnished property includes parking barriers, service buildings, fire devices, gates, signs, picnic tables, sanitation units, water systems, and more - Maintenance, renovation, and improvement (MRRI) projects are required, including vault toilet replacements, water system repairs, picnic table installations, and other amenities - Applicants must submit a business plan, proposed fees, and meet operational requirements including Recreation.gov reservations - Financial guidelines and indirect cost reimbursement for MRRI work are provided - Place of performance includes all listed campgrounds and ranger districts within Tahoe National Forest; contracting office is in Nevada City, CA - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is a service-based opportunity for qualified concessionaires - Detailed requirements, site inventories, and project lists are provided in the prospectus and appendices

Description

This prospectus is being issued to solicit applications for a concession campground special use permit. A permit to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of Government-owned recreation facilities located within the Tahoe National Forest, will be issued. The offering includes 35 campgrounds, group campgrounds, boat launches, and day use sites with a three-year average gross revenue of $1,318,680.88.
