Description

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility, located in/at Junction NM State Hwy 371 and Navajo Route 9, Crownpoint, NM 87313 has an upcoming requirement for a manufacturer-authorized preventive maintenance, repair, technical support, software updates, replacement parts, and related services for a Cepheid GeneXpert GX XVI-12 diagnostic system (Serial No. 110026004). The requirement includes annual preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, remote diagnostics, telephone technical support, onsite repair services, software support, and replacement parts necessary to maintain the system in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The services are required to ensure continued operational readiness, reliability, and uninterrupted laboratory diagnostic testing capabilities in support of patient care operations. The anticipated contract will consist of a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $34 M. 

The Request for Quotations No. IHS1524060 in accordance with 12.201-1 will be issued on or by June 17, 2026.  Evaluation factors may include technical capability to meet the government need, past performance, and price.  Quotes will be due on or by June 24, 2026.  The acquisition strategy has not yet been determined. The Government is conducting market research to identify capable sources and reserves the right to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy based on the results of market research.

In accordance with 52.204-7 the offeror shall have an active Federal Government contracts registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation in response to this solicitation and at the time of award.
