The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Division of Veterinary Resources, is seeking preventive maintenance services for 3M Steri-Vac GS5 Ethylene Oxide Sterilizers and 50A Abator systems at its Bethesda and Poolesville campuses. - Government Buyer: - National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Division of Veterinary Resources, Office of Acquisitions - OEM Highlight: - 3M is the sole Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) referenced, with services required for their Steri-Vac GS5 Ethylene Oxide Sterilizers and 50A Abator systems - Vendors/Service Providers: - Contractor must be 3M or an authorized 3M service provider with factory-trained technicians - Products/Services Requested: - Preventive maintenance for multiple 3M Steri-Vac GS5 Ethylene Oxide Sterilizers and 50A Abator systems - Services include semi-annual inspections, cleaning, calibration, adjustments, replacement of susceptible parts, unlimited interim service calls during business hours, and engineering updates - Maintenance must include labor, parts, consumables (including ethylene oxide), travel, and documentation of all inspections and services - Installation labor for catalytic bed replacement (excluding the catalytic bed itself) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide certified factory-trained service personnel - Maintenance must ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards - Service supports critical surgical services at NIH facilities - Billing is quarterly in arrears via the Invoice Processing Platform - Place of Performance: - NIH Bethesda Campus (Building 14E, Room 119A, Bethesda, MD) - NIH Poolesville Campus (Animal Center, Building 102, Poolesville, MD) - Period of Performance: - Base year plus four option years (total potential duration: five years)
