Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 seeks information from interested and capable contractors regarding an upcoming procurement for the purchase of two (2) specialized adapted vehicles for a Driver Rehabilitation Program. Interested and capable contractors should review any attached draft performance work statement (POW), statement of work (SOW), or salient characteristics and provide sufficient information for the Government to assess market capability and acquisition strategy. The essential/ significant physical, functional or performance characteristics as well as adaptive driving equipment modifications are attached. The qualifying North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 336110 Automobile and Light Duty Motor Vehicle Manufacturing with a Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard of 1,500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 2310 Passenger Motor Vehicle. No set-aside determination has been made at this time; the Government is seeking information to support acquisition planning and any applicable socioeconomic decision. The Government anticipates issuance of a solicitation on or about July 1, 2026, if one is issued. The solicitation, if issued, will be posted to Contracting Opportunities at https://SAM.gov or General Services Administration (GSA) eBuy! at https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov depending on the acquisition strategy. No hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to the contractors about the proposal submission process. All interested and capable contractors MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov and NOT be subject to any active exclusions. All responsible contractors may submit a response, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates award of one firm-fixed-price contract to the contractor responsible, whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors.
