The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking information from qualified providers for vocational training services at the Federal Correctional Institution in Safford, Arizona. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office (FAO), under the Department of Justice - Contracting office located at the U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex, Grand Prairie, TX - Services Requested: - Provision of advanced occupational training programs for inmates in: - Carpentry Technology - General Business Vocational Technology - Personal Trainer - Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Vocational Training - Training must lead to technical or industry-recognized certificates qualifying inmates for entry-level employment - Contractor to provide qualified instructors, curriculum, administrative support, and necessary business equipment and classroom supplies - Classes to be held year-round, Monday through Friday, with specified session limits and hours - Security clearances and compliance with Bureau of Prisons policies required - Contract Structure: - Indefinite delivery/requirements contract - One base year with four additional twelve-month option years (up to five years total) - Firm fixed prices - No specific OEMs, vendors, products, or part numbers are mentioned - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be an accredited post-secondary institution - Training must result in industry-recognized certification - All instructors and staff must pass security clearance - Curriculum and supplies are the responsibility of the contractor; classroom space and limited software provided by the institution
