Description

The Department of Education and Early Development, Division of Innovation and Education Excellence is seeking a Principal Mentor contractor to provide 15 hours of high-quality mentorship training for district mentors, including direct coaching support throughout the year. The contractor will also deliver at least 4 hours of training on teacher retention strategies for school leaders and provide direct mentor services for up to four principal apprentices as needed. This effort supports the launch of a Principal Registered Apprenticeship program in partnership with Alaska School Districts and the University of Alaska campuses to ensure high-quality mentor support and administrative mentor training.
