Description
This contract involves a feasibility study for the Gerlach Gateway Park located on Parcel APN 071-240-12. The study will analyze the feasibility of developing approximately 1-2 acres near SR447 to accommodate a gateway park including a ±20 space parking lot, locations for future interpretive signage and art installations, other amenities as directed by Washoe County, and future space for a trailhead and trail connectivity. The study includes two planning level alternative layouts and a colored illustrative preliminary site plan for the preferred alternative. It will utilize County provided GIS data and include desktop reviews for potential geotechnical, cultural, and environmental constraints, along with planning level cost estimates for final design and construction.
