The U.S. Air Force at Joint Base Andrews is seeking small business sources to supply and install Dormakaba (Kaba) RFID RT Plus door locks and Kaba Lock Trim Plates for Building 1690 dormitory. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Force District of Washington, 316th Contracting Squadron (316 CONS PK), and 316th Civil Engineer Squadron (316 CES) - OEMs and Vendors: - Dormakaba (Kaba) is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all door locks and trim plates - Products/Services Requested: - Approximately 127 Dormakaba RT Plus RFID door locks (Part Numbers: 79PS016T1KL30-626, KR30-626) - 127 Kaba Lock Trim Plates (Part Number: 061-510799-630), Satin Chrome finish - Installation and programming of all locks, including removal of existing hardware, installation on both sides of each door, and integration with the existing Dormakaba Ambiance System - Update of Ambiance software on a standalone desktop and staff orientation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be trained and certified by Dormakaba - All locks must be compatible with the existing Dormakaba Ambiance System - Work includes site preparation, cleanup, and final inspection - Installation and programming must be performed during normal duty hours (Monday–Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., excluding federal holidays) - Strict security and conduct requirements apply on base - Any excess locks must be provided to the government if fewer than 127 are installed - Place of Performance: - Building 1690 Dormitory, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland - Set aside for small businesses

Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes only. 316 CONS is seeking to identify sources capable of providing Kaba Door locks purchase and install that meets the Performance Work Statement and Salient Characteristics attached below. The information provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess the marketplace and inform a potential future acquisition.

This is not a solicitation for proposals, a request for quotations, or an invitation for bids. The Government will not award a contract based on this RFI, nor will it reimburse any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response.
