Description
The City of Unalaska is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals and firms experienced in household hazardous waste collection events for its Annual Household Hazardous Waste Event. The contract covers the event for City Fiscal Year 27, from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with possible two one-year extensions for FY28 and FY29. Services required include collection, handling, packing, lawful transportation, recycling, reuse, treatment, and/or disposal of approximately 40 drums and 8 cartons of household hazardous waste. The event dates will be determined based on the availability of the facility, contractor, and City personnel.
