Description
This RFB is for the provision of a Land Use Allocation Model for Ontario. The Ministry requires a vendor to build an Ontario-wide top-to-bottom model capable of allocating land use growth with a fine spatial scale and multiple segmentations to serve as inputs to specialized travel demand and forecasting models. The model must generate detailed year-by-year land use growth projections within a 30-year horizon aligned with transportation planning needs, land use policy, and expected demographic and economic shifts. The vendor is responsible for delivering a project workplan, data collection, model implementation, development report, and staff training and workshops. The contract term is eighteen months with an optional one-year extension at the Ministry's discretion.
