The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (DAC) is seeking licensed pest control vendors to provide comprehensive pest management services across more than 50 correctional facilities, production plants, farms, warehouses, and offices statewide. - Government Buyer: - North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (DAC) - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive pest control services for all DAC facilities, including: - Monthly interior pest treatments - As-needed exterior treatments (excluding termites and birds) - Emergency callback service within 48 hours if initial treatment is ineffective - Fogging treatments (up to 4 times per year per facility) - Rodent trap placement, monitoring, and removal - Services must comply with all federal, state, and local chemical regulations - Vendors must coordinate with site officials for scheduling and treatment areas - Quantities/Scope: - Services cover four geographic regions: Central, Eastern, South Central, and Western North Carolina - Pricing required per facility for each service type - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors must be licensed and registered with the North Carolina Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP) and in good standing - Emergency callback response required within 48 hours - Excludes termite and bird control - Contract term is one year with up to two one-year renewal options - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified; focus is on service delivery - Place of Performance: - Over 50 named correctional institutions and related facilities across North Carolina, including Anson Correctional Institution (Polkton), Central Prison Healthcare Complex (Raleigh), Bertie Correctional Institution (Windsor), and others

Description

The Department of Adult Correction (DAC) is seeking a vendor to provide all resources necessary to establish a contract with one or more licensed pest control vendors. The vendors must provide efficient and effective treatment and control of all pests in all DAC facilities and buildings. Additionally, treatment and control of pests in and on the adjacent grounds as defined in the contract are required. The solicitation is for pest control services under commodity code 721021.
