Description
The Power Authority of New York (NYPA) is seeking qualified developers for advanced large-scale reactors and nth-of-a-kind small modular reactors using Generation III+ or Generation IV technologies. The project aims to produce over 1 GW of energy and commence construction before 2033 to qualify for the Inflation Reduction Act Investment Tax Credit. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step in a two-step process, with qualified firms invited to a future Request for Proposal (RFP). The contract term is up to 10 years and may be fulfilled through subcontract, joint venture, or co-production arrangements.
