Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase Draeger, Inc Ventilator disposable consumables and related items from a contract awarded pursuant to their authority under section 163(3)(vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell the equivalent Ventilator disposable consumables and related products may contact the Officer listed to discuss the procurement. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, the Lobbying Law, and vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact is the individual listed. Successful contractors must complete and submit documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law 139, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a, and valid/current NYS Workers’ Compensation and Disability Forms.
