Description
The U.S. Embassy in Montevideo, Uruguay, intends to issue a solicitation for preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for elevators located at the Embassy compound in Montevideo, Uruguay. The resulting contract will require the Contractor to provide recurring onsite preventive maintenance visits, emergency callback services, inspection and testing support, technical reporting, and related elevator maintenance services.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, tools, testing equipment, consumables, replacement parts, and technical support necessary to maintain the elevators in safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and applicable industry standards.
Due to the recurring onsite service requirements, emergency response obligations, and required response times, offerors shall demonstrate the capability to provide continuous local technical support and operational presence in Montevideo, Uruguay, throughout the contract performance period.
The anticipated contract period is one base year with no option years unless otherwise determined by the Government.
The solicitation will be issued using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12.
