The Regional District of Kootenay-Boundary (RDKB) seeks to develop functional (30% detailed) designs for the Christina Lake Active Transportation Network to enhance connectivity, promote a healthy lifestyle, and facilitate clean transportation options. This effort builds upon the Active Transportation Network Plan completed in 2024. Since Christina Lake is unincorporated and roadways are owned by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTT), construction works will require MoTT support, and fully detailed construction plans are not sought at this time.
