Description

The National Research Council Canada (NRC) is seeking offers for the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Digital Twin solution for its Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering (OCRE) facilities, specifically the M32 Building and the Large Wave Current Flume (LWCF). The solution will create a high-fidelity, data-driven virtual representation of NRC OCRE's physical assets to improve operational efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, lower energy and fuel consumption, and enhance forecasting capabilities. The contractor will collaborate with NRC-OCRE experts to define scope and system specifications, provide secure and scalable data architecture for diverse data types, and ensure interoperability with existing NRC digital systems. The contract period is estimated at 6 months, starting September 1, 2026, and ending February 28, 2027, with options to extend for up to two additional one-year periods.
