Venue and Catering Services for U.S. Embassy Bangkok Award Ceremony

The U.S. Embassy Bangkok, under the Department of State, is soliciting quotations for hosting an award ceremony for approximately 700 attendees. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Bangkok, GSO/Procurement Office - Products/Services Requested: - Ballroom venue within 1 km walking distance of the Embassy (120-122 Wireless Rd., Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok) - Must accommodate at least 700 people - Amenities: stage with stairs, backdrop for Embassy emblem, directional signboard, chairs with covers, platform for photographers, theatre style seating, podiums, microphones, floral decorations, registration tables with power cords, sound and lighting system, bottled water - Ballroom available for setup (08:00-12:00) and event (13:00-16:00) - Light refreshments for 700 guests - Assorted pastries, cocktail foods, desserts, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and tea - Ready by 14:00 on event day - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Venue must be within 1 km walking distance from the Embassy on Wireless Road - Event date and time are fixed; setup and service times are specified - Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) - All communication must be in English - No specific OEMs or branded vendors are mentioned; open to qualified local venues and caterers.

Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for venue and light refreshment for award ceremony.  If you would like to submit quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown in the solicitation within the quotation submission deadline.

The U.S. government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.  We intend to award a purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.203-1. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
