Fermi Forward Discovery Group (FFDG), part of Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory under the Department of Energy, is seeking information from certified contractors for interior warehouse space rental in South Dakota to support the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility (LBNF) Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). - Warehouse space requirements: - Interior secondary warehouse space - Size range: 15,000 to 55,000 square feet - Storage of oversized equipment and materials - Up to 3 years duration - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the notice - Contractors must be certified and capable of handling large, oversized items for extended storage - The procurement is focused on rental or leasing of warehouse space, not purchase of equipment - Place of performance is Lead, South Dakota - Contracting office is Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Batavia, Illinois - Notable requirements: - Ability to accommodate oversized items - Certification and proven capability for secure, long-term storage

Purpose:

Fermi Forward Discovery Group (FFDG), Lead, SD, is issuing the following Sources Sought to Request Information (RFI), with the intent of determining contractor interest, capabilities, and qualifications of potential businesses for market research and an estimated budget for Warehouse space.

Description:

FFDG intends to identify qualified and certified contractors that have the capability to provide an interior secondary warehouse for the storage of oversized equipment and materials.  The space requirements range from 15,000 to 55,000 square feet.  The storage will be needed for up to 3 years.  The warehouse needs are in support of the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility (LBNF) Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE).
