The U.S. Air Force at Hill Air Force Base is seeking a turn-key enhancement of its Emergency Mass Notification System (Giant Voice), focusing on SiRcom and Motorola equipment. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, 75th Air Base Wing, Contracting Office (AFSC OL_H/PZIOA) - OEMs and Vendors: - SiRcom (Giant Voice system, speaker stacks, single horn speakers) - Motorola (radios, repeater) - Products/Services Requested: - Four (4) SiRcom 16-horn speaker stacks with node controllers and intrusion detection-equipped cabinets - Three (3) SiRcom single horn speakers for installation at base entry gates (West, South, Roy) - One (1) Motorola repeater for RF communication and system integration - Engineering, furnishing, installation, and testing of all equipment - Integration of open architecture software for system health monitoring - On-site maintenance and operator training for government personnel - One-year warranty on all installed equipment - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All speaker stacks must be solar powered and environmentally durable - System must comply with all relevant electrical and safety codes - Open architecture software required for health monitoring - Removal of existing equipment within 50 feet of new installations - Final acceptance testing and comprehensive training required
