The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to replace two pairs of automatic glass doors at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site Visitor Center in Springfield, Illinois. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Lincoln Home National Historic Site - OEMs and Vendors: - TUBELITE (specified for new commercial-grade entrance doors) - No other specific OEMs or vendors are named - Products/Services Requested: - Two TUBELITE Thermal Wide Stile Entrance Doors (aluminum-framed, insulated, Low-E glass) - Two ABA-compliant automatic door operators (with matching dummy units, ADA/ABA-compliant push buttons and signage) - Heavy-duty door hardware (pulls, exit devices, continuous hinges, keyed removable mullions, thresholds, weatherstripping, door sweeps) - 1-inch insulated glass units (Low-E, tempered, tinted) - Two commercial air curtains (top-mounted, electric-resistance heating, adjustable vanes) - Electrical work by an Illinois licensed electrician (wiring for door operators and air curtains) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must preserve historic fabric of the site - Compliance with ADA/ABA accessibility and safety standards is mandatory - Glazing and finishes must match existing materials - All electrical work must comply with local codes and be performed by a licensed electrician - Air curtains must be supported by Unistrut anchored to existing concrete roof structure - Period of Performance: - All work must be completed within 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed - Place of Performance: - Lincoln Home National Historic Site Visitor Center, 426 South 7th Street, Springfield, IL 62701
