The FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Division of Biological Standards and Quality Control (DBSQC), is seeking an Automated Vial Capper and Labeler system for its Silver Spring, MD facility. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) - Division of Biological Standards and Quality Control (DBSQC) - Products/Services Requested: - Automated Vial Capper and Labeler system - Must handle 3 mL and 5 mL vials with 13 mm and 20 mm aluminum crimp caps - Minimum production rate: 60 vials per minute - Includes rotary table, wrap labeling system, automatic tray loader, conveyor system, and control panel - Footprint requirement: fits within 16 x 5 feet - Installation, onsite qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and training for FDA personnel - Optional annual onsite preventative maintenance service (up to four years post-warranty) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; procurement is open to all capable manufacturers, with a preference for small businesses - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must be delivered within 60 days of contract award - Installation, qualification, and training completed within 90 days - Manufacturer warranty for 12 months post-installation - Four optional one-year post-warranty maintenance periods - Maintenance service includes rapid onsite repairs (within 3 business days), software/firmware updates, and technical support - Place of Performance: - Federal Research Center, Building 52/72, Room 5296, 10903 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20993 - Contracting Office: - FDA Office of Acquisition and Grant Services, 11601 Landsdown St, Floor 13, Rockville, MD 20852
