The U.S. Forest Service, Southwestern Region 03, Prescott National Forest, is seeking small business contractors for aggregate hauling and related roadwork services in Yavapai County, Arizona. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Southwestern Region 03, Prescott National Forest - Products and Services Requested: - Loading and hauling approximately 2,500 cubic yards of government-furnished MAG ABC aggregate from Willow Work Center to NFSR 373, Thumb Butte Road - Purchase and delivery of an additional 600 cubic yards (1,050 tons) of MAG ABC or substitute aggregate from a commercial source - Equipment with operators: loaders (minimum 5 cubic yard bucket), dump trucks (10-12 cubic yard capacity, 3 units), vibratory smooth drum roller (minimum 50-inch width), water tender (2,000-3,000 gallon capacity), and optional road grader - Mobilization and demobilization of equipment and personnel - Optional cattle guard replacement on NFSR 360, including removal and installation of concrete bases, steel grids, wings, signage, and related site work - Quantities and Line Items: - 2,100 cubic yards of MAG ABC (base bid) - 600 cubic yards of purchased aggregate (option) - 3 dump trucks, 1 loader, 1 roller, 1 water tender, 1 grader (option), with specified operating hours - 1 cattle guard replacement (base), 2 cattle guard replacements (option) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Total small business set-aside under NAICS 237310 (Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction) - Work must be performed within a 60-day period from Notice to Proceed - All aggregate must meet MAG ABC specifications or approved substitute - Work locations are within Prescott National Forest, including Willow Work Center, NFSR 373 (Thumb Butte Road), and NFSR 360 (cattle guard site) - No specific OEMs or named vendors are identified; all responsible small business sources may submit quotations.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12444126Q0038 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for loading and hauling MAG ABC aggregate from Prescott National Forest stockpile location at Willow Work Center to National Forest System Road (NFSR) 373, Thumb Butte Road.   

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237310  The small business size standard is $45  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
