Description
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for the treatment of invasive brush on two tracts totaling approximately 150 acres within the Black River State Forest. The work involves understory forestry mowing using a drum style brush mulcher/mower to reduce invasive brush, mainly glossy buckthorn, to ground level to facilitate ATV/UTV access for follow-up herbicide treatment. The project sites are located near the City of Black River Falls in Jackson County, Wisconsin. Prospective bidders are encouraged to examine the sites prior to bidding.
