The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), under the U.S. Department of the Treasury, is seeking proposals for a comprehensive vision insurance program for its employees, disabled retirees, and eligible family members, as well as for Office of Financial Research (OFR) employees. - Government Buyer: - Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Department of the Treasury - Office of Acquisition Management, 400 7th Street SW, Washington, DC 20219 - Products/Services Requested: - Vision insurance program administration, including: - Underwriting and plan administration - Provider network management - Claims processing - Customer service and wellness fair participation - Compliance with security and privacy requirements - Administrative Services Only (ASO) monthly fees for: - 2,739 OCC employees and disabled retirees - 101 OFR employees - Transition-in administration costs for enrollment - Estimated annual in-network and out-of-network claim costs (government assumes financial risk for claims) - Notable Requirements: - Systems must be ready before open enrollment - Coverage includes OCC and OFR active employees, OCC disabled retirees approved by OPM, and eligible family members - All claims are government-funded and payable only for actual covered claims - No restriction on business size or class for offerors - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified vision insurance providers - Period of Performance: - Transition period through end of 2026, followed by a 12-month base period and four 1-year option periods, with a possible 6-month extension - Place of Performance: - OCC Headquarters, 400 7th Street SW, Washington, DC 20219
