The City of Cleveland is seeking bids for the reupholstering and repair of airport seating at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. - Government Buyer: - City of Cleveland, Division of Purchases & Supplies - Office: 601 Lakeside Avenue, Room 128 - Products & Services Requested: - Reupholstering and repair of approximately 75 seats and 75 seat backs on multi-seat seating units - Use of commercial grade vinyl (Produratect-A or equal) for all seat coverings - Vinyl must be 32oz per yard, minimum 20,000 double rubs, abrasion resistant, 100% virgin vinyl or equivalent - Must comply with flammability requirement MVSS 302 - Labor for removal, reupholstering, and reinstallation of seat components (airport maintenance staff will provide and handle seat parts) - Additional reupholstering of seat cushions and foam rubber as needed - OEMs & Vendors: - No specific OEMs named; vinyl must be Produratect-A or equal - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All materials must meet strict durability and fire safety standards - Timely repair is required to ensure customer comfort - Contract value not to exceed $8,000 or one year, whichever comes first - Compliance with city ordinances on fair employment and wage theft disclosures - Place of Performance & Delivery: - Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (work site) - CHIA Central Receiving, 19451 Five Points Rd, Cleveland, OH 44135 (delivery location)

Description

This solicitation is for the reupholstering and repair of approximately 75 seats and 75 seat backs on multi-seat seating units at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to reupholster seats in commercial grade vinyl meeting specified durability and flammability standards. Seat bottoms and back rests will be provided by the airport maintenance staff for reupholstering. The contract includes labor costs and requires timely repair to ensure customer comfort. The total order shall not exceed $8,000 or one year, whichever occurs first.
