The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is seeking qualified contractors to collect eye tracking and vehicle kinematics data from alternative intersection and interchange sites across the United States. - Government Buyer: - Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Acquisition and Grants Management office, Washington, DC - OEMs and Vendors: - Smart Eye (manufacturer of Smart Eye Pro 3 eye tracker) - Equivalent OEMs for dash-mounted eye trackers and vehicle kinematics data acquisition systems - Products/Services Requested: - Dash-mounted eye trackers (Smart Eye Pro 3 or equivalent) - Vehicle kinematics data acquisition systems - Services to collect eye tracking and vehicle kinematics data from 15 Alternative Intersection and Interchange (AII) sites in up to three U.S. regions - Recruitment of at least 25 local drivers per region for multiple site traversals - Data collection, quality assurance, and final reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Use of dash-mounted eye tracking technology (Smart Eye Pro 3 or equivalent) - Collection of data from 15 AII sites across multiple regions - Local driver recruitment and multiple traversals per site - 24-month period of performance for all tasks
