Description
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to act in accordance with Ohio EPA's November 14, 2025, request to remove the air pollution nuisance rule (ANR) from the Ohio State Implementation Plan (SIP). The EPA proposes to find that the Ohio SIP contains adequate control requirements and enforcement measures to maintain air quality in the State without the ANR. This proposed action will not interfere with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) and meets all applicable requirements under the Clean Air Act (CAA). Comments on this proposal must be received on or before June 29, 2026.
