Description
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MoDNR) has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory includes remains representing at least 29 Native American individuals and 211 associated funerary objects. These remains and objects have been determined to have a cultural affiliation with The Osage Nation. Repatriation of these items may occur on or after June 29, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the MoDNR's Repatriation Coordinator.
