Description

The Coast Guard will enforce special local regulations at various locations in the Sector Columbia River Captain of the Port Zone from May 30, 2026, to August 8, 2026. This enforcement is to ensure the safety of life and property on navigable waters during marine events such as the Rose Fest Dragon Boat Races, Spring Testing Hydroplane races, and Swim the Snake event. Operators of vessels in the regulated areas must comply with directions from the Patrol Commander or official patrol vessels and adhere to no wake speed and other safety measures. The regulated areas include specific sections of the Willamette River, Columbia River, and Snake River in Oregon and Washington.
