This opportunity seeks innovative solutions for modular and scalable simulation and training architectures to support large-scale military exercises. - Government buyer: Department of War - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Three solution paths requested: - Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) Agnostic Training System (JATS): modular, hardware-agnostic, software-defined cockpit architectures - Cockpit Display Systems: advanced, immersive, interactive display technologies including head-mounted devices - Data Orchestration: scalable, secure solutions for data access, exchange, and propagation across classification boundaries - All solutions must be compatible with the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) Technical Baseline - Prototypes may be fielded at U.S. Air Force Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Elmendorf (JITTC-E) and other joint facilities - No specific products, part numbers, or purchase quantities listed - Notable requirements: - Modularity and platform-agnostic design - Rapid reconfigurability - Secure multi-level network integration - Compliance with JSE standards
Description
The Department of War is seeking modular and scalable simulation and training architectures for military platforms to enable 100+ players to exercise and rehearse within a shared synthetic battlespace. The solicitation aims to develop solutions that decouple operator interfaces from aircraft-specific software, support reconfigurable and platform-agnostic cockpit architectures, and enable rapid scenario generation with secure multi-level network security. There are three solution paths: Joint Simulation Environment Agnostic Training System, Cockpit Display Systems, and Data Orchestration. Successful prototypes may be considered for fielding at various U.S. Air Force and joint training facilities.
