The State of Minnesota is requesting proposals for mechanical engineering services to conduct a pre-design study for replacing the existing boiler and heating system with a Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) system at the Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) Shakopee campus. The project aims to significantly reduce utility costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and comply with sustainability standards including B3, SB2030, the 2023 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and 2025 OBBBA.
