NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (Guam) is preparing to solicit for the rental of heavy equipment to support Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One (NMCB ONE): - Equipment required: - Two scissor lifts with a minimum platform height of 33 feet - Two articulating boom lifts with a minimum platform height of 45 feet - One crane with a minimum lift capacity of 50 tons - Contractor responsibilities: - Delivery, maintenance, and prompt replacement of all equipment - 24-hour breakdown response or replacement guarantee - All equipment must comply with strict safety regulations - No specific OEMs or brands are identified in the notice - The contract will be firm-fixed-price - Period of performance varies by equipment (two to five months) - Place of performance is NAVSUP FLCY Site Marianas (Guam)

Description

A forthcoming solicitation containing further information for this requirement is anticipated.  Once a solicitation is issued, all responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by NAVSUP FLCY.  If applicable, technical data will be provided at the time of solicitation.

Description:

NAVSUP FLCY Site Marianas (Guam) has a requirement for scissor lift, boom lift and crane rentals in support of naval Mobile Contraction Battalion One (NMCB ONE).  The prospective vendor shall be responsible for the delivery, maintenance, and prompt replacement of the following functional equipment:

Two (2) scissor lifts (minimum 33ft.) Two (2) Articulating Boom Lift (minimum 45ft platform height). One (1) Crane (minimum lift capacity: 50-ton)

The period of performance will range from two (2) to five (5) months depending on the specific equipment item.

All equipment must comply with strict safety regulations, and the contractor must provide a 24-hour breakdown response or replacement time.

The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation for a firm-fixed-price contract sometime in June.
