Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) is seeking contractors to provide on-demand moving services for federal offices across four regions in Atlantic Canada. - Government Buyer: - Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), including the Atlantic Region - Contracting authority: Marie-Pier Dubois - Scope of Services: - Moving full office suites, furniture, computers, workstations, office equipment, filing cabinets, shelving, IT hardware, boardrooms, kitchens, fridges, microwaves, and other workplace items - Services include packing, crating, loading, transporting, unloading, unpacking, uncrating, storage, assembly/disassembly, and post-move cleanup - Both intraprovincial and interprovincial moves are required - Vehicles required: 16-foot cube vans, 27-foot straight trucks (with/without hydraulic lift), 53-foot tractor trailers, all with drivers - Labor categories: crew supervisors and general movers (including after-hours labor) - Packing materials and supplies (e.g., tape, bubble wrap, boxes) must be provided at cost, not exceeding MSRP, with a maximum 2% markup and annual ceilings - Contract Structure and Requirements: - Up to four contracts may be awarded, one per region (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador - subdivided into Northern, Western, Central/Avalon, and St. John's exclusively) - Minimum three-hour work period per order, with billing in 15-minute increments thereafter - Security requirements: valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS) and Reliability Status for all personnel, compliance with the Contract Security Manual - Adherence to the National Joint Council Travel Directive for expenses - Pricing is hourly, with annual ceilings and fuel surcharges based on monthly fuel price indices - Selection is based on lowest price through open competitive bidding; multiple trade agreements apply - Notable Requirements: - Contractors must maintain security clearances throughout the contract - Vehicles and experienced personnel must be available for all regions - Monthly invoicing and firm unit prices - Option for up to three one-year extensions beyond the initial term

This solicitation is for on-demand moving services for Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) covering Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
