Fuel Tank Replacement and Installation at Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp

The U.S. Air Force at Goodfellow Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to replace fuel storage infrastructure at its Recreation Camp. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 17th Civil Engineer Squadron (17 CES), Goodfellow AFB - Scope of Work: - Remove two existing 500-gallon above-ground steel industrial fuel tanks and all associated piping and parts - Dispose of removed tanks and piping off premises, with recycling or diversion of construction waste - Install one new double-walled 500-gallon UL2085 Fireguard above-ground fuel storage tank (or approved equal) - Includes tank accessories: vents, level gauges and alarm, tank monitoring, mechanical gauge, spill box with fill, anti-siphon valves - Install approximately 30 linear feet of coated steel piping and all associated fittings and connections - Install static grounding system as per AFMAN 32-1065 - Conduct leak testing and commissioning of the new tank - Products Requested: - Double-walled 500-gallon UL2085 Fireguard above-ground fuel storage tank (or approved equal) - Coated steel pipe (approx. 30 linear feet) and associated fittings - Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing tanks and piping - Installation of new tank, piping, and accessories - Testing and commissioning - Unique Requirements: - New tank must meet UL2085 Fireguard standards or be an approved equal - Compliance with environmental and safety regulations - Static grounding system installation required - Capability statement required with quote - OEMs: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; UL2085 Fireguard is a standard, not a brand - Performance Period: - 120 calendar days, starting within 30 days of contract award - Place of Performance: - Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp, near Lake Nasworthy, San Angelo, TX

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall remove existing two (2) 500-gallon above-ground steel industrial fuel tanks and all piping and parts associated with existing fuel tanks at the Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp.

Following removal, the Contractor shall install one (1) new Double-Walled 500-gallon Fuel Storage Tank (UL2085 – Fireguard – Above-Ground Fuel Storage Tank or approved equal) and all associated parts.

For additional details and specifications, please refer to the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and site pictures.

b. Quotes must be provided electronically by the deadline above, to the email address listed above. Quotes received after the requested date and time may not be considered for award.

c. When submitting a quote, offerors must include a capability statement demonstrating how or why they can perform the requested work. This capability statement is required so that the quote can be technically evaluated.

d. Quotes must contain a statement that the company does or does not take exception to any of the Government's requirements, or any terms/conditions of the resulting contract, and acknowledges all posted amendments and changes to the solicitation.
