The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West (MRCO-W), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Meridian Bioscience Inc, under authority of RFO Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization for analyzer lease, supply of testing reagents, and associated testing hardware for the detection of Helicobacter pylori and Clostridioides difficile to support Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC), Fort Hood, Texas, 76544. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 325413, “In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing.” The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees.
