The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking the removal and replacement of an RTAA chiller at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center in West Virginia. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 5 Contract Satellite Office, Martinsburg VA Medical Center - OEMs and Vendors: - Trane (OEM for both the existing RTAA chiller and the specified CGAM-series replacement) - Products/Services Requested: - Removal of existing Trane RTAA air-cooled rotary liquid chiller (models RTAA 70-125) - Installation of a new Trane CGAM-series chiller or equivalent (quantity: 1 unit) - Full scope includes demolition, rigging, installation, electrical and piping connections, system filling, startup, training, turnover, and commissioning - Deliverables: startup documentation, O&M manuals, warranty documentation, as-built drawings, and on-site training for VA O&M staff - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Chiller must be Trane CGAM-series or equivalent (open to alternatives meeting specifications) - Work includes comprehensive commissioning and training for government staff - Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - All work to be performed at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center Surgical Suite (Building 500) - Technical Details: - Existing chiller uses HCFC-22 refrigerant, dual compressors, and advanced control systems - New chiller must match or exceed performance and compatibility requirements
