Jefferson Parish is seeking a contractor for a two-year, turnkey decorative and landscape lighting maintenance contract covering Eastbank and Westbank public areas: - Government Buyer: - Jefferson Parish Department of Public Works – Parkways Department, Purchasing Department - Scope of Work: - Monthly site inspections, troubleshooting, fixture repair and replacement, general electrical work, and RGB light programming for decorative and landscape lighting - Services must be performed directly by the contractor (no subcontracting) - All work within rights-of-way of unincorporated Jefferson Parish - Products and Materials Requested: - Wide range of electrical and lighting components, including: - Electrical panels, breakers, disconnects, photocells, GFCI outlets, weatherproof covers - Copper wire (various gauges), ground rods, PVC and HDPE conduit, junction boxes - Metal halide bulbs and ballasts (multiple wattages) - LED outdoor light fixtures (1,000 to 6,000 lumen output, linear fixtures, 3,000K–4,000K, 5-year warranty) - Direct bury splice kits, concrete foundation repair, underground enclosures - Labor rates for licensed electricians and apprentices, equipment (bucket truck, trenching machine) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must hold a Louisiana State Contractors License (Electrical classification) - No subcontracting permitted; all work must be performed by the awarded contractor - 5% electronic bid bond, $250,000 performance bond, $250,000 payment bond required - Monthly reporting with dated photos; escalation provision after 12 months - Non-mandatory pre-bid conference and encouraged site visits - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; products are described generically (e.g., LED fixtures, metal halide bulbs) - Place of Performance: - Multiple public locations across Eastbank and Westbank of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana
