Description
The Department of Natural Resources, Southcentral Regional Land Office, is conducting a lottery for the issuance of a Kasilof River Mooring Buoy Permit (LAS 28980) for buoy site #117 located within the lower Kasilof River. The permit authorizes the seasonal installation and use of a commercial mooring buoy from April 1 to November 1 annually. Interested applicants must submit a complete application including a Lottery Qualification Form, a $240 filing fee, a completed permit application, and a copy of the Alaska Business License by June 10, 2026. The lottery drawing will be held on June 12, 2026, in person and via Microsoft Teams.
