Pender County Utilities is seeking a contractor to provide turnkey installation of pressure filter systems at five groundwater wellhouses along the US-17 corridor in Scotts Hill and Hampstead, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - Pender County Utilities, under Pender County Government, managed by the Pender County Finance Department - Products/Services Requested: - Turnkey installation of pressure filter systems for iron and hydrogen sulfide removal at five wellhouses - Structural composite pressure vessels (fiberglass, up to 1,600 gallons, per Pentair or equivalent specifications) - Water Specialist Control Valves (WS2CI/QC, lead-free brass, NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 372 certified) - Thermoplastic process piping (PVC/CPVC, ASTM compliant, suitable for potable water and chemical solutions) - Plastic ball valves (manufacturers such as George Fischer, ASAHI, Spears, or equal; 150 psi, full port, PTFE seats) - Associated piping, valves, controls, filtration media, disinfection, testing, and system startup - Notable Requirements: - Construction to be performed sequentially at one wellhouse at a time - Turnkey solution including all installation, disinfection, testing, and commissioning - Submission of sample contract, current W-9, proof of professional liability insurance, and compliance forms - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs required, but reference to Pentair (pressure vessels), George Fischer, ASAHI, and Spears (plastic ball valves) as acceptable manufacturers or equivalents - Locations: - Five groundwater wellhouses: Scotts Hill, Hampstead/Topsail, Hoover, Kiwanis, and Annex, all in Pender County, NC
