Description

The Town of Shaunavon is soliciting quotations for the 2026 Airport Lighting and AWOS Modernization project, supported by the Community Airport Partnership grant. The project involves a comprehensive safety upgrade including removal of legacy 277-volt lighting, installation of 30 new 240-volt LED runway lights, trenching and cabling, installation of underground transformers, a new rotational beacon, windsock assembly, Pilot-Activated Lighting radio decoder, and integration of the existing Automated Weather Observation System. The work must be completed within the 2026 construction season. The solicitation has been extended to allow continued bid submissions with a new closing date of May 29, 2026.
