Description

The City of Joplin is soliciting proposals from qualified planning, urban design, and/or economic development consulting firms to prepare a Comprehensive Plan and a Downtown Master Plan. The Comprehensive Plan will provide goals and objectives for future development and redevelopment over the next 20 years, covering land use, infrastructure, demographics, transportation, economic growth, environmental impacts, and recommendations. The Downtown Master Plan aims to develop strategies for future growth and improvements to the downtown area, envisioning a vibrant, mixed-use downtown as the economic, civic, and social heart of the community. The consultant will be responsible for managing the project, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating with City staff and committees throughout the process.
