The East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional Insurance Brokerage and Risk Management Services. The scope includes loss control consultation, claims consultation, claims audit support, contract analysis support, alternative risk transfer analysis, captive insurance support services, and the marketing, placement, and servicing of commercial property and casualty insurance coverages. The District intends to award a three-year contract with two optional two-year renewal terms. The selected Broker of Record will support the District's strategic risk management objectives, including reducing total cost of risk and protecting ratepayer dollars.
