FCC Hazelton is seeking certified kosher and halal food products for its food service operations in Fiscal Year 2026, Quarter 4. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton (FCC Hazelton) - Products/Services Requested: - Certified kosher and halal food items, including: - Kosher fruit-flavored drink powder (200 units) - Kosher coffee (100,000 units) - Kosher dressings, farina, jelly, mustard, oatmeal, peanut butter, sardines, tartar sauce, tuna, and vegetable juice (various quantities) - Kosher and halal meal kits (beans and franks, chicken cacciatore, chicken chow mein, chicken wings, meatloaf, fish fillet, Hawaiian meatballs, spaghetti and meatballs, Spanish omelet, turkey cutlet, pasta with vegetable protein, lasagna) - Dairy and parve meals - Quantities range from dozens to over 100,000 units per item - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All products must be certified kosher or halal, with packaging marked with the appropriate certification (hechsher for kosher) - Strict compliance with religious dietary standards is required - Delivery to the FCC Hazelton Food Service Warehouse in Bruceton Mills, WV - Small business set-aside; firm-fixed price contract - Offers must be submitted electronically; payment via EFT or Government Purchase Card - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified suppliers of certified kosher and halal foods

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton, West Virginia, intends to issue a solicitation for the requirements of: CERTIFIED FOODS as prescribed in FAR subpart 12.6 under NAICS Code 311999. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery date is estimated to be on or before July 17, 2026. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex-Food Service Warehouse, 1640 Skyview Drive, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single, multiple awards or no awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, which is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. Evaluation factors as prescribed by 52.212-2 will be applied for determination of winning bid. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 27, 2026, and will be posted to the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities website: https://sam.gov/. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 9, at 12:00 pm. EST. A signed SF 1449, including vendor information, must be submitted to be considered a viable quote. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card depending on dollar amount of individually awarded orders. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
