The Commonwealth of Virginia is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information from qualified Suppliers regarding configurable, commercial‑off‑the‑shelf (COTS) or Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) systems capable of supporting the Commonwealth’s newly established PFML program. The PFML program requires a comprehensive technology platform that supports employer registration and reporting, contribution calculation and collection, claims intake and adjudication, benefit calculation and payment, medical provider integration, appeals processing, customer service and contact center support, fraud detection and identity verification, data analytics and program reporting, and integration with existing Commonwealth systems such as identity, wage data, and payments.
